On Sunday after an...interesting Sacrament meeting, we decided to see some of the church history sites around St. George. We took a tour of the Jacob Hamblin home and the couple missionaries turned out to know my grandma. Small world.
Then we went to Brigham Young homes, which is conveniently located in a huge wind tunnel.. While we waited for a tour, Andrew remembered that he always wanted to know what the Macarena means in English. Cue me dancing the Macarena while a tour full of families comes around the corner. Classic.
The tour was taking too long, so we decided to go to the beautiful St. George temple.
I really love them.
We toured around the visitor's center and ran into a girl from our ward last year who was serving her mission in St. George. Again, small world.
When we came back to Kelsey's house, there was another dinner surprise waiting for us. There were bowls of pasta and vegetables on the kitchen counter. We took a piece of wax paper and made our own little pasta dishes.
Then we wrapped up the pasta and pinned it and put it in the oven. After twenty minutes...Voila!
(I forgot to get mine before I opened it so this is actually Ryan's. RAG. Duh.)
This one is mine. Heavy on the peppers. Yum
