An Idaho Thanksgiving

Take A Back Road by Rodney Atkins on Grooveshark

Thanksgiving 3

This Thanksgiving I headed up to Idaho for a much-needed break. Now, I may be from Arkansas but I am hardly a country girl. But after a 6-day visit to Filer (population 2508 not including the cows), I just might become one.

Thanksgiving 1

We house was full with eight Ackermans, three Reeves, three dogs and one Connor. Alex, Erica, Haley and I all squeezed in one room and stayed up late giggling about boys and playing Family Feud. We arm-wrestled,  watched football and played A LOT of cards. We had the traditional Thanksgiving dinner complete with pecan pie and Jack's Juice (lemonade+orange juice+sugar+vanilla+almond extract). We saw Puss In Boots. We filled ourselves up with bean dip at Garibaldi's and country cooking at Farmhouse. We played more cards and watched more football.

Thanksgiving 2

On Saturday we went down to Box Canyon and saw the waterfalls.

It was such a great weekend. I had a blast and it was an awesome break from the craziness that is Provo.
